Today is a sad day for me. My Daddy went home to be with the Lord three years ago today. I don't remember last year bothering me so much, but today is a different story. Hard to believe he is gone - not around to see his first grand child - grandson graduate this May. He was so proud to be a PaPa. Say a little prayer for me today - just to get through - if you will. I KNOW he is in a better place - no demons to drink away.

Cats, Cats, and MORE Cats
We have become the "Cat Lady". In the last year we have had 2 kittens adopt us. We started out with Ms Alley. She is 8 years old. She does NOT like the new kids! Here she is looking very regal. We call her the queen!!
Then last May - Memorial Day Weekend - to be exact. Caleb was getting gas for his car up at United and the girl in the little booth had this kitten. She (the kitten - not the girl) had been wandering around the parking lot and they were afraid she was going to get ran over. Caleb asked the girl what she was going to do with the kitten and the girl told him probably just let her go at the end of the night. Well - Caleb being the softy he is and the kittie being so darn cute - came home with the kittie. He assured us he could find her a home - and he did - OURS!! She is our gas station kittie!!

Then ..... right before Christmas Matt called me from work and asked if I wanted another kittie? NO, no, no I said. Matt then told me, "she walked in the back door (of his work) and she's so cute and little..." You know the rest. This is Gracie! She is very sweet and has beautiful markings. This is when she first came home - she would just sleep and sleep.
Okay, there you have it - I FINALLY posted something. Have a great day!!
